Moving forward, a new focus

As I dust this platform off and attempt to make it a better home for USF coverage, the content of the blog is going to change a bit moving forward and it has been something I have been toying with for a while.

I can’t keep pace with the games today. With work and life, trying to act like a member of the media just isn’t going to work for me. I can’t get to every game, don’t have credentials, and just can’t keep up with all the news that is constantly happening every day.

I will have new content, reactions, etc. to games and other breaking stories, but don’t look to me for covering every game. I haven’t written a game preview in forever and there is reason for it. I’m not media, just a fan that likes to create and write about our USF Bulls.

Instead I’m going to focus on creating a fairly comprehensive database for the USF rosters across multiple programs to help capture the history of the Bulls. For example you will find all the rosters for USF MBB from 2022 through 2010. I will be doing this for each program, adding years, and then creating individual profiles for each players. I’ve started with the USF MBB player profiles here. It’s going to take a lot of work, but is more my pace at this stage.

So hope you enjoy and understand how the coverage is going to take shape moving forward on this little corner of the internet.

As always, Go Bulls!

Utah and the Arizona schools are heading to the Big 12 and more will likely be on the move. So what does this all mean for USF?

USF Football: Reviewing the tight end position

The Bulls have a lot of new faces on the roster at the tight end position, but will anyone step up to become the go-to target over the middle in the pass game?

Taking a short break

Sorry I haven’t posted in a little bit, between work and life, I have not had enough time in the day to get any work on this site done. I have notes on some original pieces, but just not enough hours in the day to get it all done.

I hope to have some new content on here in the following weeks, but until then, I will roll out some of the historic rosters that have been rolling out already, but adding the soccer programs along with the basketball ones.

Hoping work begins to calm down soon and hoping to get more free time to get back to a more normal schedule.

Home sweet home

Tampa has been my home since 2005 and since that time, I have lived in some interesting places both on and off campus. So with that idea, I thought it would be fun to go through a few old places (some don’t even exist anymore) and relive some of the memories before throwing it to the group to hear your memories.

Restaurants I miss around USF

(Image credit: Creative Loafing Tampa Bay)

There have been a lot of restaurants that have come and gone since I attended USF a million years ago. Here are five that I remember well but unfournately are all gone.

They were all great places in their own way and left lasting memories, one way or another.
